At the six meetings that the Management Committee convened, all members present contributed their ideas and suggestions pertaining to the management, welfare and activities of the Association.  One of the many items that were discussed was the Nestlé’s 100 years celebration. 03.          Membership As at 31 December 2011, the membership standing of MNRA were as follows:   01.           Life Membership 02.           Ordinary Membership 03.           Associate Membership 04.           Honorary members : : :   186 1 4 3 04.          Membership Drive On 3rd October 2011, the Management Committee launched a membership drive amongst the Nestlé retirees throughout Malaysia.  A total of 595 letters were sent out to the retirees.  The details of the drive as at 31 December 2011 were as follows:   01.           Life Membership 02.           Associate Membership 03.           Honorary Membership 04.           Mail Returned : : : : 70 4 3 12   Only 12.8% of the total 595 letters sent out responded.  There were many more Nestlé retirees who have yet to become the member.  The Association is set up with the following aims and objects: 01.          To foster continuous links and interaction with the company 02.          To provide platform for social networking to meet old colleagues and meet the new ones 03.          To organize social activities for its members 04.          To encourage, foster and develop the qualities of goodwill and understanding and 05.          To provide welfare services where and when necessary The Management Committee will like to appeal to all the existing members who knows the where about of our Retirees to introduce to them our Association and encourage them to become members. In order to facilitate those Retirees to become our MNRA members, we attached herewith the membership form.  To make it easy, after completing the form, you can submit by posting it to our Administrative Office at No. 22 Jalan 18/44, 40200 Shah Alam, Selangor D.E., Malaysia or email to : nestleretireesassn@gmail.com  and then, bank in your subscription to Malaysia Nestle Retirees Association Public Bank Account No. 31-6848-4903. After banking in, please post the Bank-in slip to us. 05.          Stepping Forward - Walk for Wellness The first program organized by MNRA was Stepping Forward – Walk For Wellness which was held on Sunday, 18 December 2011 at 07:00 am at Taman Jaya Lake side.  About 200 participants including members of MNRA, their spouses, relatives, friends, Nestlé retirees, Nestlé staff and some members of the public who were supporters of Nestlé. The Event was a success with most went back happy with something in their hands.  There were lots of lucky draw. The supports of Nestlé Malaysia Berhad especially MILO, NF were very encouraging.  Their contributions in cash and kinds were deeply appreciated and making the Event a real success.  We were deeply honored by the presence of Puan Zainun Nur Abdul Rauf, Group Human Resource Director who was on hand to make the first lucky draw. We hope to make this Event an annual Event. 06.          Finance 07.          Acknowledgement The Management Committee of Malaysia Nestlé Retirees Association (MNRA) wishes to express its sincere thanks and appreciation to the following: 1.     Mr. Peter R.
