Mr.Raymond Teo welcomed all present. This was the first get-together for 2014 with a few members attending for the first time, namely Mrs Jennifer Wong, Ms Catherine Cheng and Ms Mary Liew.
It was also good to see some children accompanying their parent for this occasion. Mr Raymond Teo also invited Ms Chiam Moi Fah fondly known as Ah Moi, who used to work as our MAGGI demonstrator in Kuching .
Following the 1st inaugural meeting last 7th Sept 2013, the issues which were brought up were resolved. These were mostly on staff purchase, Nestle Retiree card, The Nestle Edge.
However, we still have not found a solution for Sibu and MIri where there are no staff shops.
The Kuching Retirees also mentioned that there is stock shortage of NESCAFE 3 in 1 and NESTLE Omega Plus in the staff shop. They also advised that allocation on products – allowed to buy 6 cans only.
Ms Leong said she will bring this up to the Kuching Factory Manager as we had the same issue in Shah Alam and this allocation was lifted for the Retirees.
It was indeed a happy occasion for all who attended. Mr. Raymond Teo with his right hand men (Laurence, Salleh and Victor) managed to secure some Nestle products and goodies from Harrisons/Vincent Chong. We had MILO, Nestle Breakfast Cereals, MAGGI Noodles; from Vincent Chong we had MUFC Sarawak Laksa paste and Chicken Curry Paste while Harrisions donated Wise chips, Glico and Wine.
Many thanks to Raymond and Team for the fantastic organization. They always do it with style –the Kuching way.
