The first step...

marked another history in making. A
group of Nestle retirees gathered at Nestle Head Office, Surian Tower, Mutiara
Damansara, Petaling Jaya for an Inaugural Meeting to form an Association for
the retirees. The meeting was called and
convened by Mr. Anthony Chong and Mr. Goh Seng Chai and about twenty retirees
were invited to attend.
At the said meeting, those
present agreed in one voice to an idea germinated
into a Association to be called Persatuan
Pesara Nestle Malaysia (Nestle
Malaysia Retirees Association). Also
at the same meeting a protem committee was formed with the following:

Official application for
registration will be submitted to the Registrar of Societies on Monday, 18 October
2010 and hope to get the approval within six months.
The Association is opened to all Malaysian citizens
who are retirees of Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad as per the official list provided
by the Company. There are 4 types of
Membership – Ordinary member, Life Member, Associate Member and Honorary
Member. Ordinary and Life Membership are
for Retirees, Associate Membership are for the surviving
spouses of the Retirees and Honorary Membership are for expariate retirees of
the company.
All Nestle Retirees whether you are pensioners,
retirees or taken lump sum are welcomed to
join us. Before the approval from ROS,
we cannot collect or receive money. In
order to prepare for the approval to come, we are now welcoming all the
retirees to sign up. Those who are
